directly to the pic on the web site is now possible thanks to MSN Space’s new configuration.  To get the ball rolling I have excerpted from e-mails sent to me, documenting when received, to encourage participation.  Please be sure to also send or direct compliments to the parent(s).

If you have a personal web site and would like members of THS 88 to visit your site, I can add a link to your site here.  Just send me the link and I’ll add it…   I have done that with Doug Gann and his radio show "Country Gold Saturday Night", as well as Stephen Higuera and his "Lost Band"  All you need to do is go to THS Addresses on the left and click on Doug Gann or Stephen Higuera and you’ll be taken to their sites.   You can also type / copy and paste / insert / provide / etc… your link info in the comments for this blog and I’ll attach it to your name in THS Addresses.

(This means, of course, we all know who each of us dated in high school. But, what we don’t know is who we otherwise WOULD have dated in high school given the chance. Laura and I do know that some current spouses will be reading this…..so, please take note current spouses: In our mind’s eye we are recalling someone approximately 18 years ago….so, if your current spouse happens to be named remember this: YOU are married to them TODAY. You got the prize. We got the memory. So stand up and do your happy dance. You MARRIED them. Take comfort in the fact that tonight, while you’re comfy cozy with them all snuggly in bed tonight….all we got was the memory of the one that got away!!! You will note that Laura and I have reserved our right to answer this question at a later date…depending on the amount of participation from each of you…I will go on to say that when Laura and I heard each other’s responses, we laughed and giggled and hooped and hollered…so, it’s good, and it’s worth it…but we want you go first! We DOUBLE DOG DARE YA!)

(For me, without a doubt, the wittiest person I know is Laura Free. She makes me throw my head back, laugh out loud so hard ‘til I get to the point where there isn’t any sound coming out anymore! Laura is my best friend in the world…the kind I call at 5 a.m. to tell I’m on my way to the hospital to have my first born…or at 1 a.m. because I’m heartbroken. Laura has without a doubt shared the highest peaks of my life (the birth of my children) and the lowest valley (the death of my daddy).

Thank you for that, Laura. For always being there, for listening, for laughing with me, for crying with me, for telling me like it is…without sugar coating it. I love you for that and I’m still NOT buying you cigarettes when we’re in the nursing home together!)

(This topic would sort of ‘catch’ all those people we can’t locate..for example, if someone hasn’t commented on the site but one of us has heard of their whereabouts we could say….”I heard so and so was doing x.” Laura and I too are curious about a lot of the people we went to high school with…people who just pop into our head for no reason at all for just a fleeting moment in our otherwise ordinary lives…)
