30n18: The NOTICE

Hey guys

First of all Thank you Kevin Brunson for your continued effort of keeping us all in touch and updated via blogs and social media.

Now as far as the 30 year reunion ( wow – 30 years – can y’all believe it?) – I am happy and want to organize a great weekend for us all. Unfortunately I am unavailable Tioga’s Homecoming weekend . I looked at the remaining Tioga games and compared with my child’s schedules and obligations with our football team and I am just unable to plan something during football season. Kevin has mentioned several of you getting together for the homecoming game and a dinner somewhere together and I think that is a fabulous idea for those that are able to make it.

As far as a big party and maybe family day – I would be happy to plan something in the spring or early summer. This would give time for people who live far off to make plans to attend.

We are all busy with our families and work obligations and just life in general. No weekend will be perfect for all. But please let me know your thoughts on this. You can message me, text me or call on me 318-344-8775. I am open to any and all ideas.

August 2018: End of Summer VaCa Trumps the fun…

Guess there’s no getting around it.  Attack the Elephant in the room, the 800 pound gorilla…20180802_135729

adding in the last info I sent out on FB…

Well with that info finally in what are we to do?  To date I have received little to no input, and have previously stated hoped to be a communications relay only.  THS putting out the football schedule next to last day of school didn’t help much.
Options:  Change the date, go for it, or forget about it.

September 14:  Benton @ Tioga — definitely on the short notice for scheduling, booking venues, plane tickets, etc., Jenn will be here that weekend.  LSU is at Auburn.

I’m just putting options out there.  If Homecoming Weekend of Oct. 5-6 remains the choice, we will gather, may not be the most fancy but we will do something for those coming in.  May be like 20n08, but that worked.

I’m here to put ideas together as needed.  Let me know here or by FB at the various locations.
