Annual November 10 and 11 Tributes

Established by the Continental Congress 235 years (November 10, 1775) thus beginning

the greatest revolution for freedom the world has ever seen…
and this proud American will not apologize
for typing these words…

Always the first to go in and the last to leave…

Happy Birthday

Semper Fi Y’all

Also take time to honor our veterans, those who are still with us and those who are gone; those who went when called and never returned; those who returned and did not return whole; those that returned and made us stronger for their service in the past and the present…

 Happy Veterans Day

November 2010: Some stuff new… some regular…

November — how the year has just flown right by…

THS 88 on the Web has moved again — this time because Microsoft is doing away with Spaces…  Did lose a few things with the transfer, but blog content remains as well as the categories — gone are the pics, and a few of the lists, including the blasted E-List.  Don’t worry, if you need an E-address — just ask…  One positive step, not that anyone is gonna use it — you can now post a comment without having to have a Windows LIVE or hotmail account.

On the Sports front…  LSU — still ranked high — no BCS title for this year — time to bench Jefferson in favor of Lee…  Saints — what’s up with that offense — defense has looked bad but doing their job — maybe there’s some hope following the victory over the Steelers — we’ll see…  World Series — GO RANGERS, though tonight might be the end…
