Once again a day or so late, but this time the back is well.

July 4th:
Rock the Red 2018
The City of Alexandria will “Rock the Red” on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, downtown to celebrate Independence Day. The fun is free and the day will be filled with food, spectacular fireworks, and great music from Zydeco artist, Chris Ardoin. Come join the fun at the Amphitheatre in Downtown Alexandria starting at 7:00 pm. No ice chests or glass bottles allowed.
July 14th:
City of Leeville — Welcome Home the Troops parade, downtown.
THS 88 related News:
Jillian Maxwell, youngest of El Presidente, Jennifer Maxwell-LeBleau, participated in the Ms. America High School Pageant in Little Rock, made the top 15, but not the top 5. Quite the accomplishment.
THS Classes of 78 and 83 also having their reunions, Homecoming Weekend 2018 (October 5-6).
Typing of Reunions, 30n18 I have nothing else to offer from last month, so I’ll repost it now.
As mentioned previously, the preferred weekend per polling was THS Homecoming Weekend 2018 and we finally got at date of October 5.
I prefer to be hands off these things, but I report and relay all info as it comes in as I have an E-List and the dominant footprint for all news for THS 88.
Traditionally, 10, 20, and 25, we have met up as a group at the Homecoming game (for those that could make it in for the game), had a picnic of some sorts with family Saturday morning/afternoon, and the adult party/gathering that evening. Friday’s Pep Rally has been an event at 2 of the gatherings, mainly for locals, but I digress.
So what we need with 4 months to go is a few brave individuals to provide input, ideas, and set-up for events to come. I have no objection sitting in and relaying info. Heck, I’ve even done the whole thing on the fly see 20n08, but would prefer not to wing it again.
Time to close this thing down with the Birthdays for July.
