OK — I finally did it…

I went ahead and cannibalized the other
sites and put all the Where I’ve Been… Where I
Am…-type posts here on the master site —
THS 88 on the Web…  That makes 40 or so post grad stories now in one place
on the greater World Wide Web…

 

It’s so exciting !!! 

 

Aware of the Ides of March…

Really not much happening here but t’was a much better day for me than Julio Caesaro 2151 years ago today…

 

What I do know is spring time allergy season has arrived in CENLA — started popping the pills yesterday — time to give Zyrtec a shot — see if it works for me…

 

Sent out a few snail mail invites to a few lost mates — mainly those who have become re-LOST — we shall see as no way to know if they are at those addresses or if mail forwarding is still in effect — why I do this I don’t know…

 

My time running this thing is now about 9 months…  Never thought I’d be a one man show this long…

 

Will try to do some "feel good" blogdom in the coming weeks — hopefully somebody will share something — kinda tired of reading about me — and all I contain myself by not sharing…

 

That’s what happens when you have a great title for a blog but can’t really type anything…  The pioneers and leaders take the arrows and are forgotten…

Near CAT-astrophe @ Casa Del Mom…

Couple of Sundays ago there was an
incident @ Casa Del Mom…

 

Seems my girls (photos under I belong to…) in the early
morning hours, through either intent or accident managed to turn on the sink in
the utility room to full force…  True, overall this is a easy task as
this particular sink has a single pull forward valve opening…  A kitty or
2 running behind it on the counter could easily achieve water flow…  The
only slight problem of this is that particular sink drains slowly and water
pressure has increased since the new tower just south of Dresser has come on
line…

 

So on this particular Sunday A.M.
8:00 or so…  the girls were screaming from atop the freezer — perhaps it
was just to get out as it was time for the humans to get up and release them
into the greater casa…  Turns out it probably was for the half inch of
water on the floor soaking the floor and everything on it — can’t get to the
litterbox — it’s wet down there… 

 

Suffice to say adjustments have been
made to keep the sink turned off…

 

 

From out of Nowhere claims # 90…

any notice at all…  An e-mail from virtually out of nowhere — this
time from Iowa — another LOSTie has
FOUND us…

In our listing here @ THS 88 on the Web…  and by that I mean actual e-address or contact information posted — under THS 88 Addresses… 

 

True — we currently have 3, make that 4 in limbo (David Fountain — REFOUND, Sherrry Stockton-Everett, Emily Vercher-Samples, and Tess Bookout-Willis) but they were found once and know we are here — they may just have to look for us…  Besides somebody out there is bound to still be in touch with their amigos — after re-introduction here….  I guess technically typing — obtaining 89 points of contact and losing 4 is actually pretty good retention…

 

So far none of my new leads have panned out…  I know some of you out there know someone — don’t take that as admonishment — just fact !!! 

188 was our number walkin’ in the rain — some we have listed were with us most of the way, but not that night, so there’s still work to be done…  I had hoped we’d already cleared 100 — wishful thinking !!!

 

Oh well…  Invite a friend using the option above or e-mail them yourself…  Have them E-mail me…  Tell me they know — tell Jenn they know — let’s at least get them accounted for…  Postage rates are going up May 1st — and e-mail is still free…
