THS 88: June 2012

For a moment there I started taking myself and this E-Letter seriously again…  Don’t worry, I got over it quickly…  An unnamed trouble maker suggested that I forego this edition, just to see if anyone noticed — trust me — they wouldn’t !!!

 

THS 88 you know what May 21st represented ???  24 years since that Flash Flood — that’s right the 25 is next year. 

 

June has arrived — that means just over a year until “The 25″… 

 

There seem to be no objections to my recess appointment for night time gathering planning and arrangements.  Jenn will be working to put together decorating committees and such — maybe even family day activities — that’s not my mission (info in comments of May 2012’s blog entry)…  Seems to be minimal objections to the proposed date of 3rd weekend in June next year — you can still vote in the polls — questions will be attached to this blog at THS 88 on the Web.

 

Think I’m gonna post a 5 spot this time.  Feel free to vote and if you have questions you can post to the comments or e-mail and I’ll take it under advisement…

 

Other news:

Joey Short, Class of ’82 and others are thinking of reviving the 5th Quarter for THS Athletics and happenings.  A group of parents and such to promote school pride, a web site presence posting photos and reporting on the positive things of THS.

 

Laura Ann Miller, Class of ’87, is planning her class’ 25th Reunion whether they like it or not…  Catch her and plans on Facebook — search for Laura Ann Miller or tioga high school alumni association

 

Lil’ Twit is getting married — prior to Wednesday night, it was more along the line of “she’s getting married — whether he wants to or not” — she is pleased that he has chosen to participate in his pre-arranged nuptials…

 

Went shooting with Jason Dukes @ Alexandria Indoor Range — brought most of my toys…  He left with a new one himself from the shop — as far as I know he’s not packing on a daily basis — yet…

 

Anybody local need a new kitty — got 3 for a good home or homes — ready for immediate delivery — one fuzzy white, one fuzzy orange, and one short hair orange.  Take one and I’ll throw in a second for free…

Reunion Poll results to date have been rather unimpressive with limited participation — I know this planning thing isn’t actually a democracy but I do appreciate input.  So far sentiment seems be split over making it THS 88 only event or opening it to other classes — we shall see…
