Hi all…  Once again, you’re reading the most complete and widely distributed E-Letter for Tioga High’s Class of 1988…

 

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL !!!   LSU vs. Oregon from the Jerry Dome aka Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, September 3, Saturday, night kicking off the College Football Season…  LSU QB Jordan “out for Kicks” Jefferson, suspended indefinitely for assault and battery, for a bar fight — to be determined if it’s good riddance — I’m referring to the horrendous and OFFENSIVE  QB play of the past few seasons.  Jarrett Lee, you’re on deck — a year or two for the Stephen Rivers era to begin…  GEAUX  TIGERS…

 

Thursday Night, September 8th it’s the Saints and Packers Opening the NFL Season… 

 

From the Lost & Found — Tracy Henagan Martin has resurfaced and is back on the THS 88 E-List…  Carl “David” Duda is back checking Facebook after a rough patch in recovery (wounded in Iraq for those joining us late). 

 

The new era of Insurance Sales was delayed, but is now only a week or so away — formal training this week, LIVE in 2… 

 

Still hot here in CenLA, quite dry too…  Might take a hurricane to get us some significant rainfall…

OK, I lied, when typing the B-Days I was reminded we have the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 and a personal gripe — September 11 being “a Day of Service” — you can have September 12 for your freakin’ “Day of Service” — September 11 is a day of remembrance for those senseless attacks that took the lives of 3,000+ Americans and changed the world.  I for one wish those towers had been rebuilt in time for the 5th Anniversary.

 

Enjoy your Labor Day — Be Safe — Safe Travels to the Tiger Faithful who I am sure are on their way to Texas — that’s you AWV.

Welcome all — that would be THS 88 and Friends…  This is your THS 88 August 2011 E-Letter…

 

For all of you out there suffering in the “record” heat that has gripped most of the country — there is name for this phenomena, and it’s not “Global Warming or Climate Change” — it’s called SUMMER !!!

 

Now for news that’s out there…

 

The E-List for this thing is now a solid 200…  Who would have thought ???

 

Doug Gann and his traveling band of Base Runners aka CENLA Storm, traveled all the way to ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort — to play West Monroe, LA, in the Semi-Finals…  They finished 2nd in the tournament…  Good job…

 

Lil’ Errol Wilson is Engaged…

 

Missed putting this in last month’s E-Letter (put it on the Web Site) Jason Lott, Superintendent at Bandelier National Monument had some close calls with the Arizona Wildfires…

 

Also missed — my Dallas Mavericks are NBA Champions…  Woo Hoo !!!  After the game a kid asked LeBron for change for a dollar…  LeBron could only give him 75 cents — because he had no 4th Quarter !!!

 

NFL lock out is over so Derek Farris gets to use all his Saints Season Tickets…  Reggie is gone — but we got an upgrade with Darren Sproles…  Saints and Packers Opening Night, Thursday, September 8th…

 

LSU and Oregon from the Jerry Dome aka Cowboys Stadium, September 3 — one year until the Stephen Rivers Era Begins…  Ohio State got the NCAA hammer — and well deserved — those self righteous Big Ten $%#^@#…

 

Tonja Craig Winekauf’s daughter, Natalya, has returned home from Afghanistan — thanks for your service and welcome home…

 

Woo — this school 2011 – 2012 school year makes 24 for THS 88 — you guys are getting old…

 

I’m about to enter another realm of the Insurance Industry…
